IRCTC server down , Passenger not able booking tatkal ticket
IRCTC server down , The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) website and app went down on Thursday, December 26. Both the website and the app are not working. Lakhs of passengers are unable to book tickets due to the server down.
After facing the problem, people have started complaining on social media. Downdetector, a platform that tracks online outages, has also reported that the IRCTC server is down. It has been found that when opening the IRCTC app, it is written ‘unable to perform action due to maintenance activity’ error’. IRCTC, the digital arm of Indian Railways, responsible for e-ticketing, has confirmed that the issue is due to maintenance work. E-ticket bookings are not possible at present.
