Sai Pallavi to Make Bollywood Debut with ‘Ek Din’; First Look Out: Aamir Khan continues to stay busy as a producer with multiple projects lined up, and his latest announcement has created fresh buzz in Bollywood. After confirming the release of Happy Patel: Dangerous Detective on January 16, 2026, Aamir Khan Productions has unveiled its next romantic venture titled Ek Din, scheduled to hit theatres on May 1, 2026.
The film stars Junaid Khan alongside acclaimed South Indian actress Sai Pallavi, marking her much-awaited Bollywood debut. Sai Pallavi, who is already making headlines for portraying Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming epic Ramayana, will now be seen in a completely different avatar in this romantic drama.
The title Ek Din was officially announced on January 15, 2026, along with the first poster. Sharing the announcement, the makers wrote, “In the hustle and bustle of life, love will find you… one day.” They also revealed that the teaser of the film will be released on January 16, 2026.
‘Ek Din’ First Look: Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan’s Fresh Pairing Unveiled
The poster showcases Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan as a young couple enjoying ice cream amid snowfall, hinting that the story revolves around college-going youngsters. Their chemistry and simple, heartfelt setting have already sparked curiosity among fans.
Directed by Sunil Pandey, Ek Din is written by Sneha Desai and Spandan Mishra. The film is special as it marks the reunion of Aamir Khan and Mansoor Khan as producers after 18 years. The duo last collaborated on the 2008 hit Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na, which introduced Imran Khan to Bollywood.
Junaid Khan, Aamir Khan’s son, made his acting debut with the historical drama Maharaj, earning praise for his performance. He later appeared in Advait Chandan’s romantic film LoveYapa opposite Khushi Kapoor, further establishing his presence in the industry.
For Sai Pallavi, Ek Din is her first Hindi film. Apart from this romantic drama, she will soon be seen in the ambitious epic Ramayana alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Yash, making 2026 a significant year in her career.
