Indian Oil Tanker Jag Ladki Safely Reaches Mundra Port
Jag Ladki Reaches India with 80,000 Tonnes of Crude Oil: An Indian-flagged oil tanker, Jag Ladki, has safely reached Mundra Port carrying around 80,000 tonnes of crude oil from the United Arab Emirates.
The tanker had earlier faced a tense situation while loading oil at Fujairah Port, located in the Gulf of Oman. Reports say that Iran carried out an attack in the area during that time. However, the ship was not damaged, and all Indian crew members remained safe.
After the incident, the tanker left Fujairah on Sunday and completed its journey to India under the protection of the Indian Navy.
Earlier, two Indian LPG carriers, Shivalik and Nanda Devi, had also passed through the Strait of Hormuz, a sensitive and important route for global oil trade.
Due to the attack, oil transport in the region was temporarily stopped, but Indian ships have now safely reached their destination. The Indian Navy’s presence ensured safe passage for the vessels and their crew.
