Modi’s “Nation First” Blueprint: A Call to Live for India Amid Global Turmoil : Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation with a stirring new definition of duty. He reminded us that while history honors those who die for the country, the need of the hour is for citizens who live for the country through conscious action.
With global markets volatile and supply chains under strain, the PM has laid out a strategic “Civilian Roadmap” to safeguard India’s economic sovereignty.
The suggestions given by the Prime Minister are, Foreign travel and gold purchase: Refrain from foreign travel for at least a year and do not buy gold jewellery. Reduce the consumption of petrol and diesel as much as possible. Use public transport or metro instead of your own vehicle. Adopt ‘car pool’ system. Use electric vehicles (EV) to reduce dependence on fuel.
Similarly, to reduce office travel, give priority to ‘work from home’, virtual meetings and online conferencing. Reduce the use of oil in daily food. He emphasized the adoption of organic methods instead of chemical fertilizers in the agriculture sector. He asked to take the help of railway goods trains instead of roadways to send goods.
