The CM wrote in the post that it is time to thank you for contributing to the relief work in this difficult time.
Samay Raina’s donation has become a major talking point due to his earlier dispute with the Assam government. Samay Raina’s YouTube show ‘India’s Got Latent’ was accused of spreading obscenity and using foul language. At that time CM Himanta Biswa Sarma openly criticized the content of the show. After this, Guwahati Police registered an FIR against Samay Raina, Ranveer Allahabadia and other influencers.
