Bihar CM announces 4 major initiatives to strengthen education system: Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary on Sunday announced four important initiatives to make the education system in Bihar of higher quality, transparent and student-centric.
Samrat Choudhary wrote in his post, ‘Important decisions have been taken in the direction of making the education system in Bihar more robust, quality and student-centric. Bihar government is committed to building quality education, a better examination system and a bright future for students.’ The Chief Minister also stated that a special state-level committee has been formed to ensure quality education in the state. It is the government’s effort to connect every school in the state with a better educational environment and facilities.
Declaration-1: Special Committee on Quality Education
A state level committee has been constituted to ensure quality education in every school. This will help make every school a center of excellence and ensure continuous improvement in the standard of learning of the students.
Announcement-2: Examination reform
A state level examination reform committee has been constituted to make the examinations smooth, transparent, fair and modern in Bihar. The committee will make recommendations for better assessment of students’ knowledge, understanding and analytical ability through use of technology and AI in board and competitive examinations as well as classroom-based assessment.
Declaration-3: Special Cooperation Camp
Special cooperation camps will be organized for the improvement of education. It will bring together the Chief Minister, Ministers, MPs, MLAs and students together in which their suggestions and problems will be addressed.
Declaration-4: Student Welfare
Directorates will be formed in all concerned departments for better coordination and effective implementation of student welfare activities.
The development has taken at a time when the country is struggling with issues like paper leaks.
