Ranbir Kapoor’s movie has come out with a latest update. The English version of ‘Ramayana’ will be about 30 minutes shorter than the Hindi version and will not include songs. Apart from this, some scenes will be edited keeping in mind the preferences of the global audience.
Indian audiences are used to watching movies that are more than three hours long with songs. But the mood of foreign audiences is quite different. Because of this, the makers have taken this big decision. However, there is no official statement from the makers regarding this update of ‘Ramayana’.
Ramayana is planned as a two-part theatrical saga, with the first part scheduled for a worldwide release in November 2026 and the second part slated for Diwali 2027. The Hindi film will also be made available in major Indian languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, while the global strategy extends to markets such as Japan, China, and Spanish-speaking territories.
