Mahabharat actor Saurabh Gurjar sent to 14-day judicial custody: Actor and former professional wrestler Saurav Gurjar has been sent to 14 days judicial custody on Sunday(September 20). Gachibowli police sent him to judicial custody in connection with a woman’s complaint alleging sexual exploitation on the false promise of marriage.
40-year-old actor Mahabharat fame Bhim was intercepted by immigration officials at Mumbai Airport on the night of September 17. A Look Out Circular had been issued against him in connection with the case. The Gachibowli police subsequently brought him to Hyderabad and produced him before a magistrate, who remanded him to judicial custody on Sunday. A 29-year-old woman alleged that Gurjar subsequently promised to marry her and assured her that she would have rights equivalent to those of a wife. Based on the complaint, Gachibowli police registered a case and began investigating the allegations.
