DHL Express announces to increase shipment charges by 8.9% from January 1, 2027
DHL Express to increase shipment charges from Jan 1: Shipping goods abroad will be expensive from next year. Logistic operator DHL Express on Saturday announced an 8.9% increase in its shipment charges from January 1, 2027 in India. From the new year, sending goods abroad is also going to be very expensive. DHL Express has recently decided to increase its charges.
According to DHL Express, shipping costs are increasing due to several reasons. This includes inflation, currency fluctuations and rising costs of the logistics industry. The company says it reviews its prices every year to reflect rising costs.
Not only this, but many other things are also affecting DHL’s operational costs. According to the company, fuel and energy costs, rising labor costs and administrative expenses have increased. Apart from this, customs rules, safety regulations and other regulatory rules are constantly changing in different countries. Companies have to spend extra to comply with these rules.
