According to the Rani, the doctor has advised her to undergo surgery. “I am as serious now; I have never been so serious. I have been suffering from some infection for the past five days,” she said.
When asked who had come to help him in his hour of grief, he said, “No one came to meet me. It was only God’s blessings and the love and prayers of the poor people of Odisha that were with me. Also, famous Odia film actress Pushpa Panda was with me from day one. She also came to meet me. Pappu Bhai is currently looking after me. He took me to the hospital and helped me with various medical tests.”
“It is true that when you go through bad times or situations, you see the true face of people. However, I request everyone to pray for me so that I can recover completely soon and resume my social work and entertainment activities,” he said, breaking down.
Talking about the health condition of Rani Panda, Yatra artist Pappu said, “She has thyroid issues and eosinophilia, and she developed such infections due to irregular sleeping and not eating on time. She also had some respiratory problems. As per the doctor’s advice, she has undergone ultrasound and blood tests at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar. She will undergo endoscopy and CT scanning tomorrow.”
“The Rani panda also has problems with her ears. Even one of her eardrums is damaged. Her mental health condition was also not good,” he added.
According to sources, the Rani panda was initially sent to the Capital Hospital for treatment and later shifted to a private hospital as her condition deteriorated. However, she was discharged from the hospital after five days of treatment. But she seems very weak and may take a few days to recover.
