Salman Khan Was Set to Buy Mannat Before SRK Became the Owner?
Salman Khan reveals he wanted to buy SRK’s Mannat ! Bollywood royalty Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan purchased their residence ‘Mannat’ in 2001. It has been a reflection of their success in the City of Dreams for more than 20 years.
Shah Rukh Khan’s residence ‘Mannat’ in Mumbai’s Bandra is also a paradise for his fans. They throng to this opulent bungalow constructed on the beach to get a glimpse of their beloved superstar.
It won’t be false to say that Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan have turned it into one of the most sought-after homes in India. But what may come as a surprise to most people is the fact that Salman Khan was also offered this very house of Shah Rukh Khan.
Salman Khan did not want to purchase this luxurious residence. Shah Rukh Khan hence had a chance to purchase this residence. Salman Khan once expressed himself to say that he could have an opportunity to live in ‘Mannat’ that costed Rs 200 crore, yet he never wanted to. In the event he didn’t give up, Shah Rukh wouldn’t have had this possibility.
Salman Khan replied, “When I began my career, this bungalow fell to me. My father asked, ‘What will you do by yourself in this large house?'” This would mean that had Salman Khan been married, he would have had his wife, would have had a family, and would have required a larger house.
Now Salman Khan resides with his parents and family at Galaxy Apartments. It is extremely near Shah Rukh Khan’s residence, ‘Mannat’. Both the superstars stay in the same locality of Mumbai, and there is a highly short distance between them.
