SRK, Ajay Devgn, Tiger Shroff Get Notice Over Pan Masala Ad: Shahrukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Tiger Shroff are again in trouble. These actors have a problem because of the advertisement of Paan Masala. Complaints have been raised against these stars in the Jaipur District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum. All three of them have received notice from this forum.
Why has the complaint been made?
This notice requested him to come on 19 March regarding the deceptive advertising of Bimal Paan Masala. The ad asserts that each grain of Paan Masala has hair in it. The slogan of the ad is, ‘Daane Daane Mai Keshar Ka Dum. The direction was given by the chairman of the commission Gyarsilal Meena and member Hemlata Agarwal after listening to the complaint of Jaipur-based Yogendra Singh Badiwal. The complainant has accused that JB Industries produces Bimal Paan Masala, and it is available everywhere in the country.”. The petitioner has stated in writing that Shahrukh Khan, Ajay Devgan, and Tiger Shroff promoted its sale.
The advertisement states that it includes saffron. But 1 kg of saffron is priced Rs 4 lakh. This keshar pan masala is available in a masala. Far be it from adding saffron to it, its fragrance is not even added to it. The actor is misleading by saying that each grain of this pan masala has saffron. The complaint continues that the company manufacturing gutkha is making crores of rupees, while on the other side of the coin, ordinary people are getting diseases such as cancer due to consuming gutkha, a toxic and lethal combination of pan masala and tobacco. This advertisement should be stopped forthwith.
