Falaknuma Express accident—A train accident was averted in Palasa, Srikakulam district, Andhrapradesh. The bogies of the Falaknuma Superfast Express accident. The incident took place on the outskirts of Palasa town while it was going from Secunderabad to Howrah. The bogies of the Falaknuma Express , which reached near Srikakulam this morning, separated into two in the middle. This caused panic among the passengers in the respective bogies.

However, the railway staff responded in time and stopped the train. This gave the passengers a sigh of relief. No one was injured in the incident. The staff who immediately reached the spot fixed the separated coaches to the train.

Meanwhile, railway staff said that the train was separated into two parts due to the breaking of the coupling between the coaches. However, the authorities are serious about the fact that the coupling broke in the middle of a regular Superfast Express and the coaches separated. Railway officials have started an investigation into why this happened. An investigation has been launched to determine whether there was negligence on the part of the staff or an act of sabotage.
