Cricket returns to the Olympics after 128 years– Cricket will be included in the 2028 Olympics after a long 128 years. The organizers made an important announcement on Wednesday regarding the organization of cricket matches at the Olympics to be held in Los Angeles. Matches will be organized in both women’s and men’s categories. However, only T-20 matches will be held in the Olympics from the three formats of cricket. The last time cricket was played at the Paris Olympics was in 1900. At that time, a two-day match was played between Britain and France. Now the cricket match will be held in Los Angeles. The organizers will have a maximum of 15 players in a team. The International Cricket Council (ICC) currently has 12 regular members and 94 associate members. The regular members include Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, Ireland, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, the West Indies and Zimbabwe. However, nothing has been said about the selection process to participate in the Olympics. However, since the United States is the host, it is said that its team will participate in the Olympics under the host quota. This means that five other teams, apart from the United States, will participate.
