Second Day collection of Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda’s ‘Jaat’
Jaat Box Office Collection Day 2: Sunny Deol returns with another film after Ghadar 2. After Ghadar 2 broke box office records, Sunny Deol is back in his next movie, Jaat. The film Gadar became a box office smash in 2001. Thus, Gadar 2 has become a strong success, maintaining the legacy of its predecessor. Following Gadar 2, Sunny Deol has achieved another best opening collection in his movie. Because of a technical snag, a day and a half back the booking was made. It has been out in the cinema halls since Thursday and has got good response as well.
‘Jaat’, which opened with a mere 9.5 crores, could not bounce back even on the second day and the collections dipped. The cinema halls witnessed fewer crowds on the second day. In comparison to the first day, the occupancy rate went down from morning shows to night shows on the second day, which meant that fewer and fewer people watched the film shows.
‘Jaat’ Collection Day 2:
As per Sacnilk’s report, ‘Jaat’ had made only 7 crores on the second day, whereas it had made 9.5 crores on the first day. Its collections have dipped even further. Thus, it has made 16.50 crores all over the country in two days. These figures are also tentative, though. Meanwhile, as per experts of cinema, if a movie is released on a holiday on a Thursday, it is only normal that the collection comes on a Friday.
Besides Sunny Deol, ‘Jaat’ also has Randeep Hooda, Ramya Krishnan, Urvashi Rautela and Vineet Kumar Singh playing lead roles. While Sunny Deol impressed everyone with his 80s-90s look, Randeep too surprised everyone by portraying the role of a villain. Both of them received a lot of acclaim in the film, but it did not help them monetarily.
