As Ayushman Bharat health insurance is going to be implemented in the state from February, Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling has given a big update on it. The minister has informed about the implementation of the digital card ‘ABHA’ associated with Ayushman Bharat in the state. In this regard, the minister said, now all the information of the patients will be in one card. No more having to carry prescriptions in hand. In this regard, the state government is going to implement the Digital Health Mission soon. This ‘Ava Card’ will be under the National Health Authority. The minister has said to apply for this card before February.
Along with this, the minister also said that this digital card ‘ABHA’ will also have a QR code. In which all the information of the person will be available as soon as it is scanned. For this, first you can register an Ava account according to the population. This abha card will be available with Ayushman Bharat in February.
Ava is ‘Ayushman Bharat Health Account’. Which works like ATM and PAN card. In this, the beneficiaries of Ayushman Yojana will get this card when they register. In which all the details of where and when the patient has been treated, for which disease. With this, the patient will not have to take the old prescription when he goes to the doctor at another time.
This card is issued by Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. Through this card, you can save both your valuable time and money. You will not have to stand in long lines at the hospital to get the token. Scan the QR code attached to the hospital and your medical report will be shared with the hospital. Whatever treatment you get will be stored on this card. Which will help you later.
How to apply for ABHA Card ?
To apply for Abha , first click on the official website abha.abdm.gov.in. Then click on Create Abha Number and apply through Aadhaar Card or Driving License. After opening the account, you will see that your digital Abha card will be displayed. In which your name will be displayed along with the QR code and Ava Number.
