Kesari Chapter 2 teaser release: The teaser of Akshay Kumar-starrer Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh was released on Monday. Directed by Karan Singh Gargi, the film is based on the events that took place after the Jallianwala Bagh massacre on April 13, 1919. The first 30 seconds of the 1 minute, 29 second teaser video have shaken the hearts of the viewers. The video starts with a painful scream, in which there is no scene or any title; only the sound of people screaming and crying is heard, which reminds the viewers of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre and shakes the hearts of the viewers. The teaser also starts with a disclaimer, which reads, “These scenes are too horrific to show.”
Akshay plays the role of Sir C. Shankaran Nair, a fearless lawyer in the film. Based on Pushpa Palat and Raghu Palat’s book ‘The Case That Shook the Empire’, ‘Kesari Chapter 2’ is produced by Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films, and Leo Media Collective. It also stars Akshay Kumar, R. Madhavan, and Ananya Pandey. ‘Kesari Chapter 2’ is scheduled to hit the screens on April 18 this year.
