Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Odisha has been postponed. It has been revealed that Shah’s visit has been postponed due to the 7-day national mourning period following the demise of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Amit Shah was supposed to come to Bhubaneswar on Saturday. Shah was supposed to come on a two-day visit to Odisha.
It is worth noting that Union Home Minister Amit Shah was supposed to visit Bhubaneswar on the evening of the 28th. He would have stayed in Bhubaneswar on the morning of the 29th and joined the meeting to be held at the Delhi national BJP office. Amit Shah was scheduled to attend the meeting through VC. It was learned that all state presidents, organization general ministers, in-charges, co-in-charges and national officers would be present in that meeting. After that, he was scheduled to return to Delhi on the evening of the 29th. BJP state in-charge Vijay Pal Singh Tomar said that there was no visit to Sambalpur during this visit.
