APJ Abdul Kalam biopic to be released soon
A biopic on the life of former President of India and great scientist Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam is going to be released soon. The poster of which has now surfaced. In this film, the filmmaker will bring Dr. Kalam’s extraordinary life journey to the big screen. The audience will soon be able to see the inspiring story of Rashtrapati Bhavan from Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, along with his rise to the presidency on the big screen.
Produced by Abhishek Agarwal and A.K. Entertainments, the film is being made in association with A.P.J. Abdul Kalam International Foundation. The film will portray the character of this beloved and respected figure of India with complete truth and dignity.
The film, which is scheduled to release this year, is titled ‘Janata Ke Rashtrapati’. The filmmakers have promised to show Dr. Kalam’s life journey, his wisdom, his humility, and his service to the country. The poster of this biopic gives a glimpse of his character. The filmmakers are hopeful that this biopic will gain immense popularity after it hits the screens.
Dr Kalam was born on October 15, 1931 in a Tamil Muslim family on Pamban Island in Rameswaram. Pamban Island was then in Madras Presidency and is now in Tamil Nadu. Although Dr Kalam had average grades in his school years, he was always a bright
and hardworking student with a strong desire to learn. He spent most of his time studying, especially mathematics.
Dr Kalam received several awards during his lifetime, including the Padma Bhushan in 1981, the Padma Vibhushan in 1990 and the Bharat Ratna for his research, contributions to science and his work with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). The renowned scientist and teacher died in 2015 following a cardiac arrest while delivering a speech at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Shillong.
