You may be surprised to hear this. But it is true. Husband Jagbandhu Chand has filed a divorce petition in the court for Archana Nag. In this regard, a case (No. 58/25) has been filed in the Bhubaneswar Family Court.

It is worth noting that Archana Nag’s honey trap incident created a stir in the entire state of Odisha. There were reports that many big leaders and people were involved in it. After which she was arrested in 2022. A few days after her arrest, her husband was arrested. After about a year and a half, both of them came out of jail. After coming out of jail, there was a dispute between both of them. Finally, Jagabandhu decided to separate from Archana.
The Archana Nag case has become a hot topic in Odisha. Archana had trapped many big leaders through honeytrap, blackmail and extortion. Archana, who hails from a poor family in Kalhandi district, came to Bhubaneswar in 2015. In a short time, she started a lavish lifestyle, which includes a luxurious house, luxury cars, four expensive breeder dogs and a white horse. According to the police, Archana and her husband acquired assets worth around Rs 30 crore between 2018 and 2022, the main source of which was honeytrap and blackmail.
The incident came to light in October 2022 when a woman named Shradhanjali Behera accused Odia filmmaker Akshay Parija of sexual harassment. Parija subsequently filed a complaint at the Nayapalli police station against Archana Nag and Shradhanjali, alleging that Archana was blackmailing her through obscene photos and demanding Rs 3 crore.
Archana was later arrested by the Bhubaneswar Commissionerate Police on October 6, 2022. Mobile phones, laptops, pen drives and computers were seized from her house, which were said to contain obscene photos and videos of many influential people. Later, her husband Jagbandhu Chand was also arrested.
Archana Nag and her associates were accused of blackmailing politicians, businessmen and officials by honey-trapping them and recording obscene videos and photos. They are alleged to have collected lakhs of rupees in the process. In addition, Archana’s photos with Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leaders and officials went viral on social media, sparking a political controversy.
