Ayushman Bharat Yojana to be Launched in Baliyatra ground on April 11 by Union Health Minister . Union Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda will launch the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) in Odisha on April 11, informed State BJP president Manmohan Samal.

The launch of the ‘Ayushman’ scheme will be held at the Cuttack Baliyatra area . While speaking to the media persons, Samal said that the Union Health Minister will reach Bhubaneswar on April 10 and launch the Ayushman Bharat Yojana on the following day.
It is to be noted here that the State Government has already approved for the simultaneous implementation of the Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) and Gopabandhu Jan Arogya Yojana (GJAY) in the state.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the National Health Authority (NHA) for the implementation of the national health scheme also has been already signed, the CM said adding that as many as 3.46 crore members of over 1.3 Crore families of the state will get the health cards for Cashless Treatment upto Rs 5 lakh per family per annum, with additional Rs 5 lakh for women members.

To apply for the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY), you can either visit the official website or a Common Service Centre (CSC) to check eligibility and initiate the application process.

1.Ayushman Bharat Yojana Check Eligibility:

    Online: Visit the official PMJAY website (pmjay.gov.in) and use the “Am I Eligible?” section to check your eligibility based on your details.
    • Click on the ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) registration button and use your Aadhar card to begin the process.
    • Enter the OTP generated to verify your Aadhar.
    • Provide other necessary information, including name, income, and PAN card.

    Offline: Visit a Common Service Centre (CSC) and ask the Ayushman Mitra for assistance in checking your eligibility.

    • Visit a hospital or a Community Service Centre (CSC) for identification.
    • Submit relevant documents (PM letter/ RSBY URN/ RC Number/ Mobile Number) to the operator (Arogya Mitra).
    • The operator will search for you in the beneficiary list and BIS application

    Besides, the Ayushman Bharat Vaya Vandana Yojana will also be rolled out in the state so that the senior citizens above 70 years of age from any economic class, whether rich or poor, will get a free treatment of Rs 5 lakh each, he mentioned.

    According to the CM, the State Cabinet has sanctioned Rs 2700.19 Crore for the implementation of AB PMJAY-GJAY for the financial years from 2025-26 to 2029-30.
