While banks in states like Mizoram, Nagaland and Meghalaya are on holiday today on the occasion of Christmas, information has been issued regarding the closure of banks in other states on 25 December All banks will remain closed on Wednesday in Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Chandigarh, Delhi, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal. Banks in Mizoram, Nagaland and Meghalaya will also remain closed on December 26 due to Christmas celebrations.
In Nagaland, there is a bank holiday from December 24 to December 27 due to Christmas. 28 December – All banks in the country will be closed for the fourth Saturday Sunday, December 29. Bank holiday , December 30. Banks will be closed in Mizoram,Sikkim on December 31.
