Centre approved Chandrayaan-5 mission , 250kg rover to go to the moon

Centre approved Chandrayaan-5 mission ,India has launched the Moon Mission to study the lunar surface. The first in the series, Chandrayaan-1, was successfully launched in 2008, and carried out chemical, mineralogical, and photogeological mapping of the Moon.

India’s second moon mission, Chandrayaan-2, launched in 2019, achieved about 98 percent success, but only two percent of the mission could not be achieved in the final stages. V. Narayanan said, “Three days ago we got approval for the Chandrayaan-5 mission. This mission will be implemented jointly with Japan.” On ISRO’s future projects, v. Narayanan said that apart from various missions, including Gaganyaan, plans are underway to establish India’s own space station, ‘Bharat Space Station’.
