He and Dhanashree Verma’s relationship has come to an end. The two have been staying apart for approximately two and a half years now, and the divorce will be finalized with the final hearing on March 20. Both parties had moved an appeal to the court to settle the issue soon, which has been accepted. As per the report, Chahal will have to pay Rs 4.75 crore to Dhanashree Verma as alimony after obtaining the divorce. But this is not a big issue for him. The reason for this is IPL. With this tournament, he will earn this amount in a matter of a few hours.

Yuzvendra Chahal is playing for Punjab Kings in IPL 2025. The Punjab franchise acquired him for Rs 18 crore through the mega auction. That is, on average, he will earn Rs 1.29 crore per match. In such a manner, he will earn the divorce amount in his 4 matches alone. Each match is approximately 3 hours long. This way, Chahal will earn this much money by featuring in only 12 hours. But the franchise decides the timing of his salary for this season. Most often, the player is provided with half the salary as soon as the tournament begins.
The rest of the money is provided during the tournament or at the conclusion. If we consider it in this manner, he will receive 9 crore rupees as soon as he plays the first match. He has already paid Rs 2.37 crore out of this, as per the family court. According to the High Court, in accordance with the settlement between the two, the second instalment of alimony is to be paid only after the order of divorce. Chahal and Dhanashree were married on 22 December 2020. But this relationship didn’t last even 2 years correctly.
