Yesterday, the statement given by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on National Consumer Day has increased the discussion. The Chief Minister has admitted that he has been a victim of fraud twice. Due to which, rhetoric has started between the opposition and the ruling party.
BJP state president Manmohan Samal said that the affected chit fund depositors will get their money back very soon. All the processes have been started to return the money. A decision will be taken soon and the program will be started and completed. The government is studying the report for public. The government is thinking about how to present the report. It was the responsibility of the previous government to return the money, but it was not done, said Manmohan Samal.
After Manmohan’s statement, Deputy Leader of the Opposition Prasanna Acharya responded. Deputy Leader of the Opposition Prasanna Acharya said, the previous government asked for how long it would take responsibility. The government is considering many things, why is it not taking action? The government must have finished while considering the chit fund issue. The government should implement the law, it did not discharge its duty by giving a speech, said Deputy Leader of the Opposition Prasanna Acharya.
