CM attended Makar Sankranti. Today is the holy Makar Sankranti. Makar Sankranti is the national festival of Keonjhar district. On this occasion, Chief Minister Mohan Majhi reached Patna in Keonjhar district and took a dip in the Baitarani River.
The national festival of Keonjhar is Makar Parv. After returning from New Delhi last night to participate in this festival, the Chief Minister has gone on a three-day visit to Keonjhar district from today. He arrived at Raisuan Airstrip at 9:40 am by plane from Bhubaneswar. After that, he reached Patna by road via Keonjhar at 10:40 am.
There, the Chief Minister took a dip in the Baitarani River. After that, he had darshan of the Lord at the temple on the banks of the river. From there, he took water baptism with darshan of the Lord at the ancient Anandeshwar temple in Patna. In addition, the Chief Minister will visit the 12th Jyotirlinga temple in the local area today.
After that, he will visit the Maa Tarini. The Chief Minister will have various programs in the Keonjhar district for 3 days from today, and it is reported that he will return to Bhubaneswar on the 17th.
Tight security arrangements have been made on the banks of the Baitarani River for the Chief Minister’s immersion ceremony. A large number of police and fire personnel were deployed, and a large crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister visited Keonjhar district with his wife today.
