He takes over as the red-ball team’s coach in place of Andre Coley. In a Windies Cricket post on X, the two-time T20 World Cup champion said, “It’s an honor to represent the West Indies in any capacity.” Sammy went on to say that he is prepared to take on the responsibility of supporting the Test team.
