Earthquake in Nepal: Tremors in North India, magnitude 7.1 . Tremors in Northern India. Shaking has been reported in India since this morning. News is pouring in from Delhi NCR and Bihar. Tremors were felt at 6:40 a.m. in Delhi/NCR, Patna, Muzaffarpur, and northern Indian cities; the quake forced people to leave their homes in the northern Indian Capital Region, Delhi/Noida/Ghaziabad, among others.
The epicenter of the earthquake was 84 kilometers northwest of Lobuche, Nepal. There is no estimate of damage or casualties due to the earthquake.
However, there is no report of any damage. Besides Delhi-NCR and Bihar, land is reported available in several Madhya Pradesh cities too. Earthquakes were felt in several cities of North India. The earthquake in Nepal was 7.1 on the Richter scale. A strong jolt was felt in Tibet, close to the Nepal border, this morning.
