Elon Musk has posted on his social media platform X and has offered a job for the post of a software engineer. Actually, Elon Musk is making a new app that can do things like an e-commerce platform along with the quality of a social media platform. The name of this app is Everything App. For this, Elon Musk has offered a job for the post of software engineer.
Posting on X, Elon Musk wrote that “If you are a hardcore software engineer and want to make ‘Everything App,’ then you can become a part of us by sending your best work to code@x.com. It does not matter to us which school you have studied at or whether you have gone to college or which big-name company you have worked for. You just show your code.”
This is not the first time Musk has questioned the importance of general education during recruitment. He has previously emphasized problem-solving over degrees. In 2014, he clarified that no university degree is required to work at Tesla. In his opinion, it is not about qualifications but about how much someone has studied and how much work they can do.
