First ‘Generation Beta’ child in the country
The first ‘Generation Beta’ baby born in the country. The first child of this generation in India was born on January 1 in Ajwal town of Mizoram.
According to media reports, the baby’s name is Frankie Remrutdika Zedeng. He was born on January 1 at Synod Hospital in Dortlang, Aizawl. He is the first of the ‘Gen-Beta.’ The baby weighed 3.12 kg at birth. Both the baby and the mother are said to be in good health, the hospital said.
Notably, Gen-Beta are those children who will be born between 2025 and 2039. This generation will be very technologically savvy. Their lives will be influenced by artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced technology. Gen-Beta children will grow up with smartphones, the internet, and social media. They will use virtual reality (VR) and other advanced technologies.
