Former Minister Naba Das’ son arrested in Chhattisgarh ! vishal has been detained by Chhattisgarh Police. The police of Saraipali police station under Mahasamud district have detained Vishal . It is reported that Vishal has been detained since late last night. It is reported that some committee members and sarpanch are also detained along with Vishal . Then such a democracy will not work, he has informed the state government by saying that they should immediately make arrangements for our release.
Today, there is a no-confidence motion against the chairman of Kirimira block in Jharsuguda district. Before that, the Chhattisgarh police has detained a large number of people. Vishal Das has protested against the police action, calling it illegal. Then why has he been detained, the Saraipali police station has not responded .
Yesterday, the local police along with the Saraipali police station inspected Vishal’s hotel in Ainthapali, Sambalpur. There were some plainclothes people among them. However, Vishal has raised objections as to why the police entered the hotel and inspected it without a search warrant and has met the IG of the North, Himanshu Lal and complained. Vishal said that there may be some political pressure behind this.
Also, after seeing what happened to my family in the past, I feel scared now after seeing the Jharsuguda police,” said Vishal Das, son of former minister Nabadas. Uttar Pradesh IG Himanshu Lal said that the complaint will be investigated after Vishal files a complaint.

WHO IS NABA DAS ?
Naba Kishore Das (7 January 1962 – 29 January 2023) was an Indian politician who was a member of Odisha Legislative Assembly from 2009 until his assassination in 2023, representing Jharsuguda. Originally a member of the Indian National Congress, he later switched to Biju Janata Dal.
A policeman fired at him when he reached Brajrajnagar in Jharsuguda for a program early in the morning 29 January 2023. The shooter was the assistant sub-inspector, identified as Gopal Das. He was immediately nabbed by local residents and handed over to the police.
