Former Miss World leaves the glamour world. Film actress Ishika Taneja has now become a sadhvi. She has left the world of films and glamour and chosen the path of religion. On Tuesday, Ishika took Guru Diksha from Shankaracharya Swami Sadananda Saraswati Ji Maharaj of Jabalpur,
Madhya Pradesh. At that time, Ishika was religious since childhood, but now she wants to stay away from acting, beauty, and films and dedicate her life to religion. She said that today’s educated youth should join religion.
On this occasion, Ishika Taneja said, “I have been interested in religion since childhood. Be it meditation or ISKCON, I was also associated with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji. But I felt that now in life I should leave all these things and join religion. I felt that if I had not joined religion at this time, then it would be too late. I feel that all the youth should come forward and join religion because they have the energy and time.”
Ishika Taneja won the title of Miss World Tourism (India) in 2017. Ishika also won the title of Business One of the e Miss World Tourism held in Malacca, Malaysia. She was honored with the President’s Award, beating 100 women from India. Ishika Taneja was seen dressed in full Sadhvi attire when she arrived in Jabalpur on Tuesday. Here, she received initiation and blessings from Shankaracharya Swami Sadananda Saraswati of Jyotish Peeth and Dwarka Peeth.
It is worth noting that Ishika has also worked in Madhur Bhandarkar’s film ‘Indu Sarkar’ and the web series ‘Had.’ Apart from working as an anchor in many sporting events, she has also acted in many advertisements.
Ishika was born on 2 September 1994. She achieved immense fame at the age of just 30. She was included in the list of 100 prominent women achievers of India and was also honored for this.
