Everybody likes going by train to any distant destination. because it is the cheapest and coziest way to travel by train. During long train journeys, everybody is bothered about what they should eat or drink. There are people who buy and consume food available in trains, whereas others cook food at home. The passengers hate the taste of the food, but it is too pricey. They have to eat the food that is served on the train.
This train provides free food
On the Sachkhand Express (12715), passengers are provided with free food. This train links Amritsar, Punjab, and Nanded Hazur Saheb, Maharashtra. Food and beverages are not a problem for the passengers on this train. Passengers on trains have been provided with food for years.

Some of the train stopping stations along this route include New Delhi and Bhopal among the total of 39 stops. Travellers at the following six stations; Manmad, Nanded, Bhusaval, Bhopal, Gwalior and New Delhi will enjoy free fare in terms of meals. Its stops at each stop have consequently been adjusted, giving the commuters the opportunity to dine. For the last 29 years, passengers of Sachkhand Express have been free to enjoy the langar. The passengers too carry a plate in order to relish the langar.
It was initially instituted by a Sikh merchant from Nanded. This responsibility was however later taken by the gurudwara. Langar is served to some 2,000 passengers daily onboard both ordinary as well as air-conditioned coaches. The staple diet includes rice, vegetables, dal, and parsnip.
The train started running weekly between Nanded and Amritsar in 1995. It was later changed to a biweekly service. In 1997-1998, it was converted into a speedy train that runs five days a week.
