Ground Zero Special Screenings : Bollywood filmmaker Farhan Akhtar says that it is an honour for him to host the screening of the film Ground Zero for Border Security Force (BSF) and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officers and jawans in Srinagar. The film Ground Zero, based on a true incident, depicts the story of the biggest operation of the BSF in the last 50 years.
Ground Zero Special Screenings
On April 18, Ground Zero created history. It became the first film in the last 38 years to have a red carpet premiere and special screening in Srinagar. This entire event was organized for BSF jawans. This special occasion was hosted by actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar.
Farhan Akhtar shared the pictures of this event on Instagram and wrote, “It was an honour for me to host the screening for BSF and CISF officers and jawans in Srinagar. This was the first red carpet film event in the city after 38 years, which was celebrated with the hope that it will mark the beginning of a new era of love between Bollywood and Kashmir.
Thanks to Jammu and Kashmir Police, BSF and all the administration people who made the shoot and event possible. Ground Zero is releasing this Friday, 25th April. Do go and watch it in theatres.” Emraan Hashmi, who is playing the lead role in the film Ground Zero, shared a picture with BSF jawans and wrote in the caption, With the real heroes, our BSF and Shri Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey.
Excel Entertainment Production’s film Ground Zero is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. The film is directed by Tejas Devaskar. Kasim Jagmagiya, Vishal Ramchandani, Sandeep C Sidhwani, Arhan Bagati, Talisman Films, Abhishek Kumar and Nishikant Roy are the co-producers of the film. Ground Zero is set to hit the theatres on April 25.
