India Bans Pakistani Hindus From Chardham Yatra After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, India has been taking strict steps against Pakistan. Now the central government has taken another strict decision regarding the attack. Citing security reasons, the ban on the Charidham Yatra of Pakistani Hindus has been imposed. However, there is enthusiasm among the devotees for the Charidham Yatra. So far, a total of more than 21 lakh people have registered themselves. 24,729 devotees from abroad have also registered to participate in the yatra. In addition, 77 devotees from Pakistan have registered their names to participate in this yatra. The Charidham Yatra is set to begin in Uttarakhand on April 30, 2025. The administration’s preparations for the yatra have reached the final stage.
Like every year, this year too, lakhs of devotees are expected to visit the Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri shrines. During the yatra, helicopter services to the Kedarnath shrine will start on May 2, when the gates of the shrine will open. During the Char Dham Yatra, security arrangements have been tightened by the state government to ensure the safety of other foreign pilgrims.
