Junior teachers’ salary increased
Junior teachers’ salary increased from Rs 11,000 to Rs 16,000 . odisha Schematic junior teachers have been employed in the state at primary and upper primary levels. They are being paid a monthly salary of Rs. 11,000. However, they will get a salary of Rs. 16,000 in future.
As per the Chief Minister’s decision, the monthly salary of these teachers has been increased from Rs 11,000 to Rs 16,000. Along with this, the EPF amount of this category of teachers has also been increased from Rs 1,443 to Rs 1,950. With this decision, the state government will now pay Rs 17,950 per month to each schematic junior teacher, while earlier it was paying Rs 1,2543. There are currently 13,740 schematic junior teachers working in the state. For this, the state government will bear an additional Rs 89.15 crore per year.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has taken many important decisions for the improvement of primary education in the state. More than 16 thousand junior teachers have been appointed. Godavarish Mishra has implemented the Adarsh Primary School Scheme. This will benefit the junior teachers of this category and the Chief Minister has expressed hope that this will lead to qualitative improvement in primary education.
