Meanwhile, the Regional Meteorological Center has predicted that the effects of Kalbaisakhi will continue in the state for the next three days. There is an orange warning for heavy rainfall with lightning and thunder in Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Angul, Deogarh and Sundargarh districts. These districts are likely to receive 7 to 11 cm of rain, while winds may blow at a speed of 50 to 60 km per hour. Similarly, there is a yellow warning for 14 other districts.

Earlier, the temperature in the state was close to 44 degrees Celsius, but such a sudden change in the weather conditions has given reassurance. On Saturday, the maximum temperature in Bhawanipatna was recorded at 35.5 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was 16.1 degrees Celsius in Keonjhar .
