Katy Perry Sings In Space – Pop star Katy Perry returned to Earth on Monday after a space flight. She called her space flight with Jeff Bezos’ ‘Blue Origin’ rocket an ’emotional’ experience. Katy said that it was the second best experience of her life after becoming a mother. Katy revealed that she also sang the song ‘What a Wonderful World’ during the flight.

“I think this experience has shown me that you never know the love that’s inside you, how much love you have to give, and how much you’re loved,” Perry said after stepping off Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket after a nearly 11-minute journey.

Before starting this journey, singer Katy Perry had said that it been her dream to travel to space since childhood. At the same time, she wanted to go to space and sing. This dream of hers was fulfilled by American industrialist Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin company. Katy sang Louis Armstrong’s ‘What a Wonderful World’ in space. Regarding the reason behind choosing this song, Katy said, ‘I have sung this song before; I did not know that one day I would sing it in space’. Katy Perry will also write a song on this entire journey.

The five-member female crew, including Katy Perry, was carried to an altitude of more than 100 kilometers above the Earth’s surface by a rocket from Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’ space company, Blue Origin. It is part of the New Shepard program, which has been named NS-31.
