‘Kesari Chapter 2’ is a courtroom drama film based on the Jallianwala Bagh massacre of 1919. The story portrays the character of lawyer C Shankaran Nair, who dragged the British Empire to court. He wanted to expose the truth that this massacre was a deliberate genocide. At the same time, the story of the battlefield of Saragarhi was shown in ‘Kesari’ released in the year 2019. Inspired by the book ‘The Case That Shook the Empire’ written by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat, grandson of C. Shankaran Nair, the story of this film has been written by Karan Singh Tyagi and Amritpal Bindra.
