List of Chief Ministers of Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh is the largest state in India, with a population of 199,812,341 people. UP is also the fourth-largest state with an area of 240,928 sq. km. The present Uttar Pradesh state was established as a united province in 1937. After 1950, the state got its name as Uttar Pradesh. Till now, 21 chief ministers from various political parties have taken charge in the state since its independence.

Who is the Current Chief Minister Of UP –

Yogi Adityanath is the current chief minister of Uttar Pradesh. Yogi Adityanath is serving as CM of Uttar Pradesh. He has been working as chief minister since 2017. He is politically associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Yogi Adityanath has been selected as chief minister three times. He held the position of CM for the first time from 19 March 2017 to 25 March 2022 and again re-elected in 2022 to 2024, and third time he is elected to the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh.
