Rohit was dismissed for nought for the 18th time in the league’s history, and went level with Glenn Maxwell and Dinesh Karthik. The former MI skipper flicked the ball straight to Shivam Dube at midwicket in the first over of the match and walked back for a four-ball duck.
This was Rohit’s fourth duck against Chennai Super Kings in the IPL, and he has failed to open his account on four occasions against Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru as well.
