After 144 years, the world-famous Mahakumbh Mela has begun in the Sangamathalam Prayagraj. Devotees from all over the country and abroad have joined it. But the biggest attraction here is the Naga Sadhu.
Seeing Naga Sadhus, many questions arise in the mind. Why is their life so difficult? How do they practice meditation? The biggest thing that comes to mind is why do they sprinkle ash all over their bodies? This question was asked by a national media reporter to a Naga Sadhu who attended the Mahakumbh Mela. In response to this, Baba said, it is an enchanted ghost, which works like a cloak. It is enchanted in instruments, mantras, and systems. It is called Dashnami Chadar. And it acts as a power booster for Naga Sadhus.
Why are they called Naga Sannyasis?
Baba said, their mind and heart are completely naked. Meaning to say. In their mind and heart, there is nothing like lust, anger, greed. It is only a treasure of compassion. Therefore, because they are devoid of vice, they are called Naga Sannyasis.
