Odisha launched Ayushman Bharat on April 11– The government has launched various schemes to empower and help people financially. One of these schemes is the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, the benefits of which are reaching lakhs of Indians. Under this government health insurance scheme, Ayushman cards are being given to the poor and needy people. Through this, one gets the benefit of free healthcare.
Meanwhile, the Ayushman card is going to be launched in Odisha on April 11. BJP national president JP Nadda is coming to Odisha for this. Nadda will reach Bhubaneswar on the night of the 10th of April. After that, he will launch the Ayushman Bharat scheme on the 11th of April. Vigorous preparations are also underway for this. To get the benefit of free health insurance up to Rs 5 lakh, people must have an Ayushman card. Through this, cardholders can get free treatment. The ABHA card is managed under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), which is a digital healthcare initiative of the National Health Authority (NHA).

Who are the eligible beneficiaries?
All senior citizens above the age of 70 years, irrespective of their socio-economic status, will be eligible to avail the benefits of this scheme. Eligible senior citizens will be provided a new card under the Ayushman Yojana, known as the Modi Card. This is an application-based scheme. For this, people will have to register on the portal. The portal will have a face verification facility, which will have a specific link for senior citizens above the age of 70 years.
How to apply?
For this, first go to the official website of Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY.
After this, verify your Aadhaar or ration card.
Provide proof of family identity.
After this, print your e-card with a unique Ayushman Yojana ID.
An Ayushman card requires an Aadhaar card, a ration card and address proof. Apart from these, the applicant must also have an active phone number. If any of these four documents is not available, then the application is likely to be rejected. The application for an Ayushman card can be applied for by visiting the nearest Jan Seva Kendra. Apart from this, the application can also be applied by visiting the official website of AHR.
