Olympic medalist Neeraj Chopra got married .

India’s star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra has started a new chapter of life. He has tied the knot. He announced this through his social media handle on Sunday. Sharing his wedding photos on Instagram, he wrote – ‘Starting a new chapter of life with my family. Grateful for every blessing that brought us together at this moment.’ Neeraj’s life partner’s name is Himani. 

Himani is currently studying in the US. She is studying ‘Sports Management’ at Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire. She is an alumnus of Miranda House in Delhi where she completed her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Physical Education.

Neeraj threw 87.86m in the Brussels Diamond League final. He finished second and missed the title. 

Paris Olympics final, 2024
Neeraj’s throw of 89.45m in the final of the Paris Olympics remained the second-best throw of his career. However, he could not make a valid throw even once after that.

Lausanne Diamond League, 2023
Neeraj topped the list with a throw of 87.66m. He threw this in his fifth attempt and directly aimed for the gold medal. The magic of his golden arm worked once again.

World Athletics Championships 2023
He threw 88.17 meters and won the gold medal. Qualified for the Paris Olympics through this competition. Became the first Indian to win a gold medal in this competition.

Doha Diamond League, 2023
Neeraj’s throw of 88.67 earned him the gold medal again at the Doha Diamond League in 2023. Neeraj won the gold medal in his first attempt.

Stockholm Diamond League 2022
Neeraj Chopra won the gold medal with a javelin throw of 89.94m at the Diamond League 2022 in Sweden. With this throw, he bettered his personal best of 89.30m set at the Paavo Nurmi Games in Finland.

Tokyo Olympics, 2020
Neeraj became an overnight sensation by winning the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics. In his second throw, he covered a distance of 87.58m and gave India its first track and field gold of the Olympics.

Asian Games, 2018
Neeraj won a gold medal for India at the Asian Games in 2018. He created history with a throw of 88.06 meters.
