Who was travelling in the train?
Actually, yesterday, Jaffar Express left for Peshawar from Quetta in Pakistan and as soon as it reached Bolan, BLA fighters attacked the train. The fighters hijacked the train near Bolan. There were more than 450 passengers in the train. 140 soldiers of the Pakistan Army were taken hostage in it. Pakistan prepared for an airstrike, but the Baloch fighters had threatened that if an airstrike took place, all 140 soldiers would be killed. This attack is one of the biggest attacks by Baloch separatists on the Pakistan Army so far.
The Jaffar Express train was stopped by blowing up the railway track. After this, the train was taken into the tunnel. Active-duty personnel of the Pakistani Army, Police, Anti-Terrorist Force (ATF) and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) were travelling in the train. All of them were going to Punjab on leave. Baloch fighters targeted them and attacked them. Majeed Brigade, the suicide unit of BLA, carried out this operation. Baloch fighters have been fighting for a separate Balochistan country for years and this attack was being planned in advance.
Rebel organizations are uniting against the Pakistani army
A few days ago, Baloch groups had announced a new attack against Pakistan and China. Baloch fighters have recently finished military exercises with Sindhi separatist groups. Now rebel organizations are uniting against the Pakistan Army. The coming together of Sindhi and Baloch organizations has created a big threat to CPEC projects in Pakistan.
Last month, a meeting of BRAS i.e. Baloch Raji Ajoi Sangar was held. Commanders of Baloch Liberation Army, Balochistan Liberation Front, Baloch Republican Guards, Sindhi Liberation Organization, Sindhudesh Revolutionary Army attended this meeting. A proposal for a major operation against Pakistan was made in this meeting. A few days after the meeting, Shahbaz government was put in trouble by hijacking a train in Pakistan.
