Pariksha Pe Charcha: Deepika and other celebrities will give tips to students with Modi
Pariksha Pe Charcha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dialogue program ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ will be held in a new format and new style this year. More celebrities will be included in it to address the students appearing for board exams.
These celebrities include Deepika Padukone, Mary Kom, Avni Lekhara, Rujuta Diwekar, Sonali Sabharwal, Foodfarmer, Vikrant Massey, Bhumi Pednekar, Technical Guruji, and Radhika Gupta, who will be part of the journey to empower students. The interactive program of students with Prime Minister Modi, organized annually by the Department of School Education and Literacy, will be organized in the town hall format at Bharat Mandapam in the national capital.

Pariksha Pe Charcha is an initiative started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to reduce exam-related stress and turn it into a celebration. There is tremendous enthusiasm among the students for its 8th episode. Since its launch in 2018, this program has evolved into a nationwide movement.
3.56 crore people have registered for the 8th episode of this program in the year 2025. This is also a significant increase compared to the seventh edition. The previous program had 2.26 crore registrations. This episode saw a significant increase of 1.3 crore registrations.

Pariksha Pe Charcha has not only become a popular program but has also turned into a ‘Jan Andolan’ that has deeply connected with students, teachers, and parents across the country. The initiative’s focus on reducing exam stress and encouraging students to view exams as a festival—’Utsav’—has ” struck a chord with people from all walks of life.
The overwhelming participation in this program reflects the growing awareness and acceptance of the importance of mental health and holistic education. The interactive format of the program, which involves open dialogue between students, teachers, and the Prime Minister, has further contributed to its success.

To further strengthen this program as a ‘People’s Movement’, a series of engaging activities were organized at the school level from January 12, 2025 (National Youth Day) to January 23, 2025 (Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti).
These activities, organized across states and union territories, were aimed at engaging students, parents, and teachers in celebrating this program as a festival. A total of 1.42 crore students, 12.81 lakh teachers, and 2.94 lakh schools participated. These activities are designed to reduce stress and improve focus and performance during and after the exam.
