PBKS Defeat LSG By 8 Wickets In IPL 2025 Match 13: Wicket-keeper batsman Prabhi Simran Singh (69) and captain Shreyas Iyer (52) smashed half-centuries in a hurry as Punjab Kings beat Lucknow Super Giants by 8 wickets in the thirteenth match of the current IPL. With this, Punjab has gone up from fifth to second on the points table with its second victory in the third match. Conversely, Lucknow Super Giants have fallen from the third to the sixth position after being defeated for the second time in the third game. Lucknow had set a target of 172 runs for victory on Tuesday. Punjab attained this goal with 22 balls to spare. Besides Prabhi Simran and Shreyas, Nehal Wadhra also played an astonishing 43-run innings from 25 balls. Captain Shreyas and he contributed 67 runs for the unbroken third wicket to secure Punjab an easy win. Lucknow was asked to bat by Punjab after the toss.

Nevertheless, the speed of Lucknow did not slow down that much due to the responsible batting of Nicholas Pooran (44 runs from 30 balls) and Ayush Badoni (41 runs from 33 balls). Abdul Samad, who entered at number eight, scored an explosive 27 runs off just 12 balls, as the team reached 171 runs for 7 wickets in the 20 overs given. Arshdeep Singh bagged 3 wickets for 43 runs.
