Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Mauritius; Participate in the island nation’s 57th National Day
PM Narendra Modi’s Two-day visit to Mauritius: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Mauritius on Tuesday. The Indian Prime Minister was accorded a grand welcome upon his arrival. He will be the chief guest at the island nation’s 57th National Day celebrations. Several agreements in the fields of defence and economic cooperation between India and Mauritius are likely to be signed during Modi’s visit.

Mauritius Prime Minister Navin Chandra Ramgoolam said it would be a matter of pride to welcome the Prime Minister of India. This is the biggest thing that Modi has come here for despite his busy schedule. It is a matter of happiness for us. An Indian army, a naval warship, and an Air Force skydiving team will participate in the National Day celebrations to be held on the 12th. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Civil Services College building along with Mauritius Prime Minister Navin Chandra Ramgoolam during this visit. The construction of this building has cost $ 4.75 million. This project is being done in partnership with Japan. Along with this, 20 projects and area health centers will be inaugurated through VC.
