Professor Marry Student in Classroom ,The relationship between a teacher and a student is considered sacred in India. This relationship is always treated with respect. However, this relationship has been tarnished by a professor and student couple of a college in West Bengal. A professor married his student in the classroom. After the video of this went viral on social media, it has been condemned.
A shocking incident has come to light in West Bengal. This video from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University has gone viral on social media. In this video, a professor is seen dressed as a bride, while a student is seen dressed as a groom. Along with this, the student is seen wearing vermilion on his forehead and wearing a garland. Generally, such marriages are performed in Hinduism.
After the video went viral on social media, it was condemned from all quarters. The college authorities also reacted immediately. A three-member team was formed, and an inquiry was ordered into the incident. The professor has also been ordered to go on leave until the report of the investigation into the incident is received.
The professor said that the incident was wrongly portrayed. The professor said that he did this while teaching a psychodrama in class. The incident took place in front of everyone in the classroom. He said that there was no bad intention behind it. The video of the incident was recorded for the class. However, the professor said that someone with bad intentions made the video viral.
The professor has been advised to go on leave despite expressing his opinion. An investigation committee has been formed, comprising three female heads of different departments. Although the professor’s explanation was heard, he has been advised to go on leave until the investigation is over as the video has gone viral.
