Raghubar Das started second innings joined BJP again
Raghubar Das started second innings , who recently resigned as the Governor of Odisha, has officially started his second innings in active politics. He joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in Ranchi on Friday in the presence of thousands of supporters and top leaders of the party’s state unit.
His supporters burst firecrackers with great enthusiasm on the occasion. He said, “Starting a new life as a Bharatiya Janata Party worker, I feel like I have returned to the shadow of my mother’s lap. If becoming a governor is an honor, then being a servant of a party organization like the BJP is a matter of pride. I have joined the party as a servant and will serve it till my last breath.” Raghubar Das said that today is a historic day for me. I am joining the party for the second time after 1980.
After the notification of my appointment as governor was issued, on 26 October 2023, when I submitted my resignation to the party’s national president, JP Nadda ji, it was a very emotional moment for me. The amount of respect that a son from a poor family has received is possible only in the Bharatiya Janata Party. Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that the results of the recent assembly elections have not been favorable to our party, but we should not be disappointed. There are victories and defeats in elections. We will work according to the ideas and goals of our party.
